Lessons Learned from Team Sports
Tuesday, February 24, 2009
Questions we'll ask our panelists:
- What characteristics learned as an athlete have served you well in your professional career?
- What traits do you see missing in non-athletes?
- If you could pass on a trait you learned as an athlete to others what would it be?
- Give us a specific example where a key skill you learned has served you well in a business environment.
- How could a woman/professional acquire or improve their ability without breaking a sweat?
You'll hear from three former athletes who have achieved corporate success:
Rhonda Lege Scott, a Director of International Business who competed on the women's track team at the University of Oregon.
Megan Gradek, a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a former U.S. National Team Rower.
Adele Gipson, a Financial Planner who led her college's basketball team as a point guard.

Did we overlook something? Just let us know.
