During her 20+ year career as an urgent care physician, Dr. Lamm noticed that the generally healthy people who came in for injuries tended to eat similar foods. Likewise, those who came in with several health issues and long lists of prescription medications also consumed similar foods.
This awareness, combined with an unexpected allergy discovered in one of her children, led Dr. Lammto begin research on the role of nutrition in overall health. She shares her findings as guidelines for food do's and don'ts that are practical, easy to implement and won't lead to dinner-time battles with your family.
